Join us if you'd like to take leisurely road bike rides on the weekend through the scenic countryside around Boulder. Our pace will be slow compared to most cycling clubs, maybe a mild step up from cruiser rides. We'll just go at our own pace. A typical ride might be 20 miles roundtrip in the Boulder area. We go at about a pace of 12-14 mph on the flats, but stop frequently, so the overall pace with stops is about 8 mph over about a 3 hour ride.

Meet professional skills coach and pro racer Gene Hamilton and other local mountain bikers to discuss and learn mountain biking skills. Riding a bike is easy. Riding over off-camber roots and rocks and cornering with confidence is more difficult. Whether you have been riding for twenty years, race professionally or just started riding there is a lot to learn as the correct techniques are not intuitive. You could ride for 50 years and not stumble upon them. Learn the correct way to rid …

… We will discuss these during our various events like potluck, house parties, yoga, music, board games, hiking, bike rides, yoga, frisbee/volleyball/badminton at wash park. The reason I started this group was that most of the other groups (including the 6 groups I am an Organizer in) revolves around alcohol bar events and wine. I have never had alcohol in my entire life or smoked which makes it harder to make friends with similar interests. I donot charge for meetups or try to sell anyone anythin …
